Dr. Smitha Raghavan is a distinguished Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Laparoscopic Surgeon with more than two decades of expertise in women’s health. Trained in the United Kingdom, she combines world-class clinical skills with compassionate care, making her a trusted name in her field.
After completing her MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, in 2002, Dr. Raghavan pursued specialist training within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), under the rigorous guidance of the General Medical Council (GMC). She achieved MRCOG in 2009, CCT in 2013, and in recognition of her contribution to women’s health, was awarded Fellowship (FRCOG) by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2021.

Pregnancy Care – from low-risk mothers to complex high-risk pregnancies involving diabetes, high blood pressure, previous pregnancy loss, premature deliveries, or growth-restricted babies. She is highly skilled in normal vaginal delivery, assisted deliveries with forceps or vacuum, and caesarean sections for complex cases.
Advanced Gynaecology – laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries for ectopic (tubal) pregnancies, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps, menstrual abnormalities, and other gynaecological disorders.
Women’s Preventive Health – cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, breast screening, and management of menstrual irregularities, prolapse, urinary incontinence, vaginal infections, and vulval/vaginal reconstruction.
